JAG DHATT
Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac)
Jag is a licensed acupuncturist who graduated with Distinction from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture program at Grant MacEwan University. A passionate athlete herself, Jag is a strong advocate for living a healthy and active lifestyle.
Following graduation, she completed the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program with Whitfield Reeves, OMD, L.Ac, in Oakland, California. This program provided advanced training in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of sports injuries and pain. In 2022, Jag further deepened her expertise by completing the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification (SMAC) program with Matt Callison. Recognized as the most comprehensive training for acupuncturists in the field of sports and orthopedic medicine, the SMAC program includes over 250 hours of advanced instruction, combining Eastern and Western approaches to effectively treat musculoskeletal conditions.
Jag takes an integrative approach to care, identifying patterns of imbalance using Traditional Chinese Medicine principles alongside Western orthopedic and sports medicine protocols. Her treatments may include acupuncture, acupressure, gua sha, and cupping—aimed at correcting dysfunctions naturally, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal health.
In addition to her orthopedic training, Jag is among the select few acupuncturists certified in advanced techniques of Facial Acupuncture for rejuvenation. She has also enhanced her practice with facial cupping and facial gua sha. Drawing from Chinese Medical theory, Jag tailors each facial treatment to gently, safely, and effectively reduce signs of aging—helping clients achieve radiant skin without the risks associated with injections or surgery.
